It’s time to take the “aaaagh” out of travelling. ETA – Arrive on time enables you to see exactly how long it’ll take to get where you’re going, taking not just the distance but also traffic conditions and any public transport problems into account.
We know what you’re thinking: I can do that in Maps! You’re right, and ETA doesn’t reinvent the wheel: it uses Apple Maps to get its data.
In addition to the main app, ETA is also available as a Today widget and as an Apple Watch complication, where it provides fast access to your ETA without requiring you to launch the app.
What ETA adds to your mapping app is a more focused experience when all you want to know is how long a trip will take and when you’re going to arrive.
Once you’ve decided which route you want to take you can share your ETA with others and you can automatically load the directions in Apple Maps so you’re ready to roll.
