Awful service
I recommend you to not use this app and buy paper tickets for the following reasons:
1) Not every stops have QR code readers, what makes you prone to be fined (e.g Murano);
2) Stops with QR code reader usually get error while reading the QR Code; and
3) there are excerpts in the app where the information is not translated into English (leading to misunderstandings and wrongly waste of money).
Useless
I downloaded this to get around Venice but couldn’t even register. First it issued an E29 error, then it failed to send the text message to complete the registration. Then I tried to change the mobile number to receive the registration text but now it no longer allowed the use of a non-Italian number. I see a lot of potential for this app but for my needs it simply did not deliver.
