Why isn't this part of the standard macOS applications?
For ages we have had the Color Picker.
For ages it only pops up on some applications, and not others. Why? Things like the Digital Color Meter can be run at any time. But the Color Picker is able to store palettes, sets of colours, most used colours, and whatnot. It's incredibly useful.
So why didn't Apple ever added it as a standard macOS application?
Instead of wondering about that, install Color Picker Plus — it does exactly that. It even adds a few extra bells & whistles, not available on Apple's own Color Picker. But, for me, the best is that it works *together* with the built-in Color Picker — all my lovely palettes are available under Color Picker Plus, too!
This tiny app is a must. Thank you for developing it!
Oh, and it's ARM-ready as well.
