Daily Dictionary 2.0 features Home Screen widgets to place amongst your app icons. Also, daily notifications will now respect your current timezone, so they automatically arrive in the morning — wherever you are in the world. If you want to change the time when Word of the Day notifications are delivered, you can change this in Daily Dictionary's settings. In the app, enjoy an interface redesign featuring more detailed information at a glance and a brand new Today tab.

- Automatic Dark Theme support. You can now pick between three theme options; Automatic, Light Mode, and Dark Mode. Automatic mode respects the current iOS 13 system appearance. - Support for rich trackpad and mouse cursor integration on iPadOS 13.4. - A few miscellaneous bug fixes. Specifically, the custom iPad grid layout would sometimes not display when Bingo Machine was first launched.

Fixed an issue which was preventing iOS 13 Shortcuts from working properly.

Support for rich iOS 13 Shortcuts. Create a shortcut including the Word of the Day action and access independent parameters like definition and example usage.

New: On iPhone, premium users can now access the full archive of all past words. Just scroll to the bottom of the recent words and select 'Word Archive'. You can now access all featured words since Daily Dictionary began in September 2018. A Premium unlock is now required to see complete word entries including example usage phrases, access the word archive, and unlock other perks including Bookmarks and a Dark Mode theme. Thanks to everyone who has supported Daily Dictionary to date. This update also includes a few miscellaneous bug fixes.

You can add a bookmark by pressing the Add Bookmark button when viewing a word inside the app, or from the daily notification — save the daily word in one tap without needing to launch Daily Dictionary. - Addresses a major bug which meant watch face complications did not work reliably on older Apple Watch models. - Decreases time taken to transfer 'Include Today's Date' complication setting in Extras menu on iPhone to Apple Watch.
