Small little tool that shows all you need to know
Ironically, one of the toughest questions to answer is what version of OpenGL your Mac supports (especially if you have more than one card!). This little tool not only extracts all relevant information (even data from the CPU which Apple doesn't show) but it also does a simple benchmark test, which you can (optionally and voluntarily) submit to their ever-growing database.
