The best Mastodon client on iOS and Apple Silicon Macs

The official client could be better at this point in time. Some Apps in Beta look really good, but most are commercial. This is it if you are looking for an open-source option.

Killer features that make it stand out from the crowd:

- you can follow "local" feeds on remote instances (so you can pick a speedy server for yourself; usually, that's a server with very few people or even self hosted, and have all the benefits of using a larger one) and hashtags easily.

- Runs perfectly on my Apple Silicon Mac!

The author is on-fire, releasing new versions at a breathtaking pace.

What could be improved is a better use of space on iPad's / Mac, expanding the icon tabs to feature text and the timeline/toot display space.

Not perfect (yet), but worth the five-star review.

Getting better

The app is getting better and better! The app icon is the thing I most dislike.

The superior mastodon mobile client

Beats even ivory. It’s better aligned with the culture of mastodon at every level, not just a Twitter.
