Story:
"You live with the Bartholys, a family full of secrets and mysteries. You're going to start to have strange dreams about the most bewitching of the three brothers, the eldest, Nicolae. In charge of protecting his siblings while their father is away, you will discover that he's far from being as reasonable as he pretends to be.
From past to present, dreams to reality, magic and hypnosis, hunting down and revenge, you will venture far beyond the strange city of Mystery Spell and wander through nineteenth-century London, discovering Nicolae's secrets as well as Ludwig's, his rival. In this new story, vampires and werewolves confront each other but nothing is what it seems. You will need courage and self-control not to lose your mind. But above all, will you have what it takes to reason both enemy clans and conquer the mysterious Nicolae's heart?"

This app is designed to persuade you to spend money: short sentences mean frequent taps and use of energy, the main protagonist rambles constantly in an obvious attempt to pad for more text, there is no freedom in your choices (choosing any option but the correct only means you do not see secret scenes, but you only have a course of action) nor can you replay freely what you have unlockable and the 'secret scenes' being payable kinda give it away.
I bought 24.000 energies and didn't even get halfway the story. That's 24.000 taps. Imagine trying to get through that in the free mode where you get less than 500 energies, even with sidegames and video watching. On a glance, getting you through this game in a timely manner would cost you over 100 euro, maybe more.
And this is a single route!
Then there is the constant 'rate us' pop ups but anything other than a 5 star leads you send them an email not vote. You know, like EA did for Dungeon Keeper. I had to come to the store deliberately to put the review.
The writing and world build are trite and cliché and ridiculously boring, but some of the characters are actually interesting.
The art is gorgeous but repetitive and reused. They have two or three faces for each character, the same backgrounds again and again, and little else.
In short, take the money you would sink here and buy either Amnesia or Hakuouki which have better and more varied art - and are entire games - or just get any game from Voltage, at least you pay for an entire route.
