Amazing App

Roon is the most rewarding piece of software I have used for music listening and discovering. Needs a subscription and at least a computer, it the best for me is the support for many streamers, dac’s and airplay.
Love to use the chromecast feature to show the cover on the tv. The latest builds have become fast, the only downside is that needs constant internet connection to work, without internet you can not play music.

Other than that, there are alternatives, but no other has the look, experience and metadata that roon offers so beautifully.

The latest versions have become faster and the stability has improved to a point that simply works.

Unstable

Roon in general is a great way to listen to music and manage your album collection. Unfortunately the app itself is sub-standard.

It crashes constantly or sometimes just gets stuck. Every time you unlock your phone the app has to refresh.

And being able to search your favorite albums like on the iPad version would be ideal.

Super unstable

Over the last week I’ve experienced app crashing everything I use it. It holds for 5 sec and then it closes on itself. Please fix this.
