Description
Global warming has increased the risks related to nature fires significantly. 2017 was the deathliest year in Portugal.
With this app you can warn other people by reporting fires via the interface. When you see a fire and you report it, your location will be sent to our backend servers and in real time visualised for all other users on the map.
You can report fires in the app directly, report them on Twitter -- the twitter sheet will be pre-filled with a screenshot of your location and the twitter handle of the fire brigade. The same is true for Facebook users. The reported fires to social media are also indicated with Pins on the map.
Furthermore you can also check where fires are detected by satellites. When you are a tourist in this country don't underestimate the danger of wild fires during the summer period, please check this app before you go on the road.
If there are no fires reported or detected, the app will indicate this as well. Note that they can have a delay of 3 hours, depending on the orbit.
Please share the app, the more people use it the better.
Please consider supporting the app by buying an In-App-Purchase, if you find it useful, it costs money to keep the server infrastructure running for this app.

Muita boa e com informações abrangentes.
Not updated
I purchased to keep an eye on fires in Portugal as there was a nacional alert this morning with over 15 active fires. This app doesn’t show any of them
Developer Response ,
Dear user,
I’m sorry to hear this. We are depending on the orbit of the NASA modis satellite, it normally orbits 2 times per day and this means that there can be a delay in detection and time of reporting. For this reason we have developed the option for users to report also fires in real time, which has been done numerous times during the recent fires in the Algarve.
I hope you give it a second chance, the app is not perfect but one of the only tools we currently have. The more people who install and use it the better it will become.
