All social networks have become bottomless feeds of disposable content. In limiting sharing to just one thing at a time, people will be more selective about what they’re posting. On Arbtr, sharing a new link will overwrite the previous one, so your feed will always be clean.
Small Group Energy
Use Arbtr at your own pace. We’re striving to build a calm environment without any likes, push notifications or upvoting features. Get excited by fresh new links, but also celebrate older ones. Leave your post untouched for a while and it will gain the aged status. Aged posts remain on the feed because they are extra precious to their arbiters.
Your Data
Our goal is to build the smallest social media platform in the cloud. No profile images, no behavioural analytics, no algorithmic recommendations. Just your name, comment and links.
