Euler Visual Synthesizer is a ground-breaking visual exploration platform.

Explore the hundreds of included animated presets or design your own with the full-featured synthesizer interface. No programming is required. Just twiddle some knobs and create beautiful abstract dancing geometric shapes. It’s a synthesizer. It has Banks, Presets, Oscillators, LFOs, modulation sources, knobs (lots of knobs), a mixer, and effects. Except it doesn’t create sound. It creates geometry.

It specializes in periodic waveform manipulation, but also dabbles in some non-linear possibilities as well.

Of course if that is a little intimidating, there is a performance mode where you simply smash buttons on the keyboard to cycle through the presets, and drag your mouse around a gigantic interactive rectangle - and the magic just happens right before your eyes.

Euler Visual Synthesizer is an application for designing and performing mesmerizing geometric animations in real-time. Explore the beauty of mathematics and periodic functions.

There are no equations to memorize and no programming languages to learn. It looks very similar to an audio synthesizer - with oscillators, LFOs, knobs, buttons and an extensive effects section, including feedback (similar to digital delay in audio) and Bloom (similar to reverb in audio). It is fully interactive using mouse/keyboard or any MIDI capable device (MIDI is only available in the Pro Version).

EVS includes a special Performance Mode - where users of all ages can enjoy interacting with any of the 3 included Banks. Each bank includes 32 presets. Interaction is simple: Tap on keys on the keyboard to switch presets. Drag the mouse around the built-in XY pad to modulate the presets and bring them to life.

Shapes you create can be saved as presets which can then be recalled, very similar to how presets on an audio synthesizer work. A collection of presets (32) can be stored in a Bank. If using the companion Apple TV player, these Banks can be shared using your iCloud Account for playback on the free Apple TV player.

There are two main modes of the app. Synth Mode and Performance Mode. Synth Mode is used to design, edit, and manage presets and banks. Performance mode is used for interacting with a set of presets or banks - as a “performance” - maybe playing along to your favorite song or album, or just enjoying the beauty of your creations while twiddling knobs to make your abstracts come to life.

At a more technical level, Euler VS is a synthesizer that synthesizes (generates) a collection of vertices (points) in 3D space - using various oscillators, transformers and a mixer which then renders this collection of vertices using your choice of one of three modes:

- Line: Draws a line between vertices
- Stamp: Draws “stamps” or included icons at specified intervals along the shape.
- Formation: Vertices specified by the symmetry value are drawn using a dot shape and a number of wingmen try to follow the dot as it is modulated throughout the shape. There are various modes of formation that define how the wingmen follow the lead - producing various interesting effects.

Upgrade to the Pro Version to add the following features:

- Full MIDI control over all parameters. Assign MIDI CC controllers to parameters using the easy to use MIDI assignment mode.
- Pop out the embedded render window into an external resizable window.
- More render resolution options - up to 4K.
- Export and Import your own banks to share with others.

Note: Sharing of banks with the free Apple TV version using your iCloud account is included in the Basic and Pro versions of the App.
