Try the new iNaturalist app!

• Press and hold on the AI camera button to access more ways to create an observation, including multiple photos and sound recordings.
• Refined Camera & Suggestions: Enjoy a cleaner AI camera interface, better offline suggestions, and better suggestion photos.
• UI and Usability Updates: Updated sign up and login screens, notifications, My Observations list, map tiles, and more—making the app easier and more pleasant to use overall.

If you prefer the classic iNaturalist iOS interface: go into Settings, enable Advanced Mode, then select “Edit Observation” in the middle section.

This update contains bug fixes and improvements. Specifically, it improves the reliability of fetching locations when creating observations.
