This update focuses on making Picasso more reliable and stable, so you can spend less time troubleshooting and more time creating beautiful screenshots!
- Fixed an issue where the Sign Up screen could occasionally get stuck permanently loading.
- Resolved a minor App Store API connection bug that prevented some users from syncing their apps.
- We’re also actively working on fixing the bug that uploads black screenshots for certain users. Thank you for your patience!
Ratings and Reviews
Mostly good, couple minor issues
Picasso definitely saved me time creating app screenshots, and the outputs were perfect. I did encounter some issues signing up: First, the email went to my spam folder (gmail), then, after clicking the link in the email, it wasn’t clear what I should do next. I was expecting the app to automatically detect I had validated my email. After waiting for a while, I just went to File > New document and it worked. My least favorite thing about this app is how it defaults to occupying almost the entire screen every time I go into Preview mode! Other minor issues: Selecting recent fonts adds duplicates to the recent fonts. Once I had changed fonts, it wasn’t clear what the original font was. I’d give this app a 4.5/5.
This is an impressive tool for developers
I can't believe how easy it is to make stunning screenshots with this. I wish I had found it sooner. I will be recommending it highly.
Everything is extremely well thought out and highly customizable. The final product is so easy to export. Has already saved me time and money in design costs. 10/5 stars!

Good but with caveats
I really like this app in concept, the tools are good and localization features are a game changer. I used it to make all my app screenshots in 4 languages.
Then I ran into bugs. Sometimes images export in black and white and distorted, sometimes they look perfect. Sometimes they export at the wrong resolution and Apple won’t accept them, other times they are perfect. I’ve emailed support before about other issues and never got a response. I emailed them again about this current resolution issue more recently. Will update my review if they ever respond.
