Great experience

During my recent travels, I had the pleasure of staying at a vibrant guesthouse, and I must say that it was a truly good experience. Here's why I highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking an affordable and lively accommodation option:

Bad experience ever

unacceptable way how you are dealing with my situation even over the phone the call center keeps disconnect the line during the call without solving or even help. Even for the relocation they offers keeps on sending me in different location and downgrade apartments wish has no facilities like the same one I booked at Marina village 2 as it has 2 bedrooms, ground and first floor and the village has swimming pools and beach access with many facilities. One of your relocation coming in the other side of the road with poor service and the other one was in another city (Alexandria) 120 KM away, and my main booking at marina 2 North coast alamain area Matruoh Alex Road. I tried to inform you the day before my travel that the owner blocked his number and there’s a review on your account that he’s a scammer but you keep saying just go there and we will help and it’s taken 3 and half hours to go there and waiting for other 5 hours to get your answers or relocation with my family and i went to a broker to get one night as my family should to have rest before my trip back to cairo and he used us as we have no options and make me pay to him 3500 LE for one night plus the travel expanses which is more than 1500 LE with wasting my time and 2 days of my vacation as I’m not living in Egypt and I don’t have enough time to waste one more day.

Very helpful receptionists/ prime location

Tan hotel is located close to all the tourist attractions a first time visitor would like to visit. Literally just walking distance to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, tram station and so on. Around the hotel, there are a lot of restaurants to choose from.

The hotel provided breakfast with a view from 8 AM, quite late for someone like us who used to get breakfast from 6 AM :) but it was Ok, we walked to Topkapi park early in the morning and then came back to hotel for breakfast. Food was good to start the day. Farooq & the other receptionist guy was very helpful. Made our life easier from where to go to changing the fridge (coz it wasn’t cooling) and to providing extra adapters (you have to make sure to carry a universal adapter when traveling, 3 pins won’t work all over Turkey).

The hotel in general requires maintenance, cabinet handles are incomplete, toilet light flickers, TV channels are very limited and all in Turkish language, fridge needs to be replaced. I can say that the place is really just to sleep after exploring the City. But then again, the great service, all smile staffs can cover all of these shortcomings.
