Revisiting the app features

Good app but please revisit other app features. There are few:

1. Warnings and other notifications or message should appear in the “notification” option of the application and not just a notification on the general notification bars of a phone as other phone DIs not have that feature. Since there is a notification or the bell icon on the app, better that all warnings and other messages will be seen in there so we can also view it again as reference.

2. App should be working only when there is an internet connection to have accurate status as reference if still green or gray or yellow or red. Anyone can just switch on Bluetooth but switch off internet and they can still be shown as green but how sure are we that the user is still green.

3. Battery-consuming app. But I am not sure if this can be solved as it requires switched on Bluetooth where Bluetooth consumes phone life battery.

4. An app version of it wherein it will be compatible with other smart phone models.

5. Add more FAQs based on the reviews mentioned here in the review of this app here in App Store or Play store.

Poor Ehteraz App ،

Poor bug fix management !

I think the developer must solve these bug fix ASAP !!! I’m currently under my quarantine, but it has been 18 days already that my Ehteraz showing yellow color (on quarantine) and it’s supposed to be 14 days. This affects me a lot because I have to go to work and other places that Ehteraz health status showing required.

I called 109 about the technical issue so many times, they informed me the same that to delete and uninstall the Ehteraz App then install and register again. And then another issue happened, I did the mistake by doing that, exceeding to the App by registering with the same phone number for many times and this causes the error message “Error, please try again” and I couldn’t use the same number to register anymore, the staffs from 109 informed me that the only way to solve this issue, I have to use any of other Qatar phone numbers to get the OTP to register again.

Unfortunately, by calling 109 for technical issue didn’t help me a lot they couldn’t reset phone number or health status from their side, the only thing they suggested was only wait wait wait...

Isolating myself and cancelled my flight because of Ehteraz technical error

Being a resident vaccinated in home country (2 doses Pfizer, so fully vaccinated) arrived from a green list country and completed PCR test within 36 hours (so no quarantine applies), the Ehteraz turned into yellow once my negative PCR test results came out. Raised the complaint the same day, and have been following up a few times a day. It has been a week already and yet no single support or call has been received. 109 defines themselves as helpline being able to share the status of your complaint only (which apparently is “work in progress” all the time), and they fail to provide the any further details like what is pending on the matter, what is the anticipated timeline, contact details of the team actually working on the issue.

At the end of the day, I am the one taking the hit for no reason..
