In-App purchase not working with Family Sharing

I purchased the ad-free version, however when I downloaded the app on another iPhone through Family sharing, the version is not ad-free. It asks to re-purchase for the ads-free version whereas in the App Store it’s mentioned that upto six family members can share the app.
Otherwise this is a great app
