Talabat: Food, grocery & more 4+

Love using Talabat. My only concern is that some vendors do not write a complete list of ingredients and that can be a complete waste of money for customers who find that their order contains an allergen.

A suggested solution I have for this is to allow users to add their allergens to their profile or personal information. A list of common food allergens can be placed as well as a comment box for the less common ones. If a vendor recieves an order with an allergen they should either remove it or inform the customer if it cannot be removed. Vendors should be penalized if they failed to inform of or remove the allergen since the severity of some reactions are life threatening.

I really do hope that Talabat take this into consideration for the safety of their customers.

It’s just my second order but the whole thing turned sour. I ordered 2pizzas and one side totaling to 111, voucher included (25 paid by talabat). Yeah so I asked to remove 1 pizza reducing the total by 54. Even while having one pizza removed the math they did is of the charts. They said they removed one pizza ending with a total of 87. MATH RIGHT? 111 minus 54 is 57. I asked them to do the math again and this time they got it right. 15 Minutes later the talabat driver arrived carrying a receipt with a bill of 111. On the receipt there was only 1 pizza one side, I even received only 1 pizza and one side. Somehow the bill is still 111. I understand if papa johns made a mistake but talabat is still asking for 111. I know papa Johns won’t since they know how to read a receipt. So it’s not just the agent making problems but two agents and the driver. First agent I called didn’t inform the driver, didn’t. Modify the bill. The driver insisted for 111. The second agent I called after the delivery can’t speak proper English nor understand me properly enough. Overall, talabat is just another app similar to snoonu that just as garbage. Not worth it. I’d rather do normal deliveries from restaurants with LOWER delivery costs.

I’ve used this app for a really long time and i was really happy with it, i have used it more than any other app i used for food delivery.
I’ve experienced a problem that the driver came to my location and called me to come outside, he is saying that after 5 minutes he left the order outside and left. When i went outside to check my order I couldn’t find the order, and when i tried to contact the driver he never picked up. I tried to contact the talabat live chat they told me they will make the driver call me, and the driver is saying he left the order outside. While i am here left with no order and no customer service or anyone to contact, and the driver is not picking up anymore.
I’ve tried to report it through the app, and when i try to report it they tell me to email their email for the customer service, and when i email it they tell me the email’s inbox is full and the email can not be sent.
This is really the worst customer service I’ve ever went through and the worst system ever.
I highly do not suggest this app to anyone.
