Worst app to use in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
Been using Uber services for a very long time in many countries since I’m a frequent traveler, however I must add that the Uber services in Sri Lanka is the worst as their maps are never updated and the drivers never end up in the selected pick up location. Drivers cancel the rides very often for no given reason and you need to wait hours for another ride to be booked. Drivers also complain when the card payment option is been selected, pestering passengers to change the payment method to cash or end up canceling the booking if refused. High time Uber looks into this matter and update their drivers maps frequently to avoid them taking longer routes resulting in the customers having to wait for hours until they can finally get a ride...and that’s IF the driver doesn’t cancel the ride after not being able to find your pick up location.
Money
Beware Do not take money from my account for nothing from the time i entered my card details you guys are taking the charges even early morning when m sleeping I mean for what which pending changes and when driver cancel the ride who will give back the money which already debited full amount and then once I book again you will take charges again without refunding old one and sometimes ur app shows 1 minutes and suddenly it shows 10 minutes drivers are rude not cooperative it’s been almost 6 months m using day and night even without any discounts offers Shame on you Give the refund back asap and driver cancels plz do not take the money from my account Thank you But no thank you
Very bad experience
My son left his mobile on an Uber car, we tried to call the mobile just after getting out of the car without a response. We contacted Uber and after trying to contact the driver through Uber he denied that anything was left. For some reason my son Uber account doesn’t show that trip and he didn’t got a reseat for that trip. Uber kept bouncing email with us refusing to provide the reseat of the trip. I don’t why they are trying not to help in this matter specially that our right to be able to access a reseat or an information about a trip that was done through Uber … an awful experience and make me count before using their service
