Education

Academia is the place were everyone can find the information needed! I am truly grateful for this concept of Academia because I could finish my Bachelor Paper, due to the information provided! On the other hand it’s not my cup of tea to pay for the app to have unlimited access.... Why should I pay to see how’s accessing MY written essays within the app?? At least a discount could be useful for the academic staff and students 🤷🏼‍♀️

You guys must hate the customer

In the first 5 minutes of using the app I get a LOT of upgrade notifications. On every interaction you guys want to make me pay for the pro subscription. And it’s not cheap, more like $120/year.
Then you guys limit my functionality, I go on a PDF, start reading it, but the download button doesn’t work, I press again, it gives me the “Upgrade” pop-up where you ask me for money.
Also there’s the problem with the emails, even though it’s unrelated to the app, it’s the same company and the same bull***t practices: they email me to upgrade in order to find out what papers have mentioned me, after I start a free trial, it appears as if there are none, even though in the email they specify about 50 mentions.
You guys are awful, services like these are much needed but policies like yours, we can live without.

Love it

I love the app but the only thing I don't like is that it can't remember where I left a book and that it always restarts from the begining.
