Sadly
I’m a big fan of Apple TV and have been enjoying its amazing features for quite some time now. However, I recently found out that Apple TV is not available in Romania, which is a shame.
As an EU citizen, I think it's essential that every member state has access to the same products and services. Nonetheless, I'm optimistic that Apple will address this issue soon with a future update, which would be great news for all Romanian Apple fans out
there.
I look forward to enjoying Apple TV in
Romania and experiencing all of its fantastic features.
Stuck on “Downloaded”/“Library” page
I have been trying for a while to access the app, get a subscription and watch some shows. However, every time I open the app on my phone, I see only the “Library” page. It is worth mentioning that I have a stable WiFi connection and I also tried to access the app through my mobile data after making sure that everything related to it was turned on, and still nothing works.
I also tried to access the app from my iPad, which also has a stable WiFi connection. However, the result is the same: only seeing the “Downloaded” page.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app in both devices and nothing improved. I have also force-quitted the app and reopened it several times and still not working.
It is a pity as I was quite excited to watch some exclusives, but I do not know how to solve this issue 😔
Very poor remote
This is a great app if all you want to do is control your own media. BUT, if you want to control what you stream from Apple Music forget it. Why such an obviously needed (and wanted) function is missing only Apple knows. It’s beyond ridiculous to omit such a basic function from the only real Apple compatible remote out there. Apple won’t allow 3rd part manufacturers to include Apple Music on their audiophile streaming devices and they won’t allow us to remote control what we stream on Apple devices. A very poor app from Apple.
And as has been stated else where, give România a chance. Your happy to sell your devices here but not let us watch Apple TV! Seems like your actively trying to get people to torrent your programming rather than pay for it. Guess Romanian money isn’t good enough for Apple TV!
