Description
BetterSnapTool allows you to easily manage your window positions and sizes by either dragging them to one of the screen's corners or to the top, left or right side of the screen. This enables you to easily maximize your windows, position them side by side or even resize them to quarters of the screen.
If you need even more than those standard snap areas, BetterSnapTool now allows you to create your own, custom snap areas anywhere on your display. These can resize & move windows to any possible position.
More features included are:
• support for multiple monitors
• customizable keyboard shortcuts to trigger any snap area
• lots of design customization options
• always accessible pop up menu showing all possible snap sizes / positions
• move or resize the window below the cursor while holding customizable modifier keys.
• select what happens when double-clicking a window's titlebar

BetterSnapTool works with almost every application, only some apps with non-standard windows can't be supported.

Great job, neat app
Offers a simple and specific customisation in a simple package that just works - snapping. I wanted to keep the zoom functionality and get a mouse gesture to quickly manage windows. The animation of how the window will snap is smooth and helps you figure out what will happen. Also. the current default settings offers pretty much what I wanted from this app, though, it’s nice that you can fine tune the experience.
The most helpful app
It does exactly what it is supposed to do. Helps a lot with making apps fulscreen while keeping the action bar and dock on the screen.
I have a prob and i dont know what to do
I think it's been 1 month since I got my MBA and install Better Tool. Until a couple of days it went smoothly and i really liked it. but now i cannot snap anything, it does show me the snap places, but when i drag a window it blurs. also the windows are moving weirdly shortly after. for that i give this app 2 starts (it s a very good app when it works, but the fact it crashed after 1 mo is quiet surprisingly dissapointing)
