Difficult to navigate

Map Route is almost impossible to follow for navigation.

USELESS

I tried the application on a 5 days trip to the south of Poland but it was very disappointed. In most cases the application chose busy roads even if in parallel with them there were secondary roads or even bike paths. Another serious problem was when the application chose a route which i checked to be good and when I start it the route changed fact that I realized too late. Conclusion: the application was absolutely useless to me. Finally I used a physical map and google maps. P. S. In many cases the google maps app on bike option chose the road much better than this “ dedicated” app.

Could you send us details of the said routing to support@bikemap.net? We will then take a closer look to see if there is any planned improvement with our next routing update and we'll try to find out what was causing app to suggest the detour.

This app is selling tracks received for free !!!

I would kindly ask the Developer why this app is selling the routs /tracks which are uploaded for free and with good will by the cyclists ?
If someone try to download a gpx track from the app, then premium (paid version) is required, which is equivalent with selling the products which were not created by the developer of the app, the tracks are received for free.
In my understanding I use the app because is sharing tracks for free between cyclists, not to buy them from developer and make him unjust profit.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Obviously we do not sell the routes users upload. With the free version you are still able to save uploaded routes. Bikemap is a community cycling app. Yet, we pay a license fee for the OCM. With your membership you directly support this valuable open source bike map. Through the integration with Bikemap, you can use many features in the app with the OCM that the OCM alone does not include in the free version (plan routes mobile, record, navigate, etc.).
