No way to reset device
I own a Classic 280i and since a few days it stays on max fan speed, reporting up to 300 PM2.5. I’ve changed the filter and reset the filter lifetime, no change.
I can only guess that the sensor calibration is off. I remember that when I first installed the device when it was brand new, it had a period of a few days for calibrating the sensor. I’d like to bring it back to that state, but there’s just no way to reset the device isong the app, and no information available anywhere.

Hi, thank you for the feedback and sorry for the issue you are having. It could be that some dust is stuck on the PM sensor showing high values even though the air is clean. To clean the sensor, please unplug the air purifier and, from the outside of the air purifier, apply the vacuum cleaner on both sensor's ports. The sensors are placed on the side and are shaped like snowflakes. If this did not help, please send us an email at info@blueair.se
The app needs some automation options and better AI.
There is no programming other the night mode. So If I want to setup different times when I want it to start/stop, I cannot so that.
It doesn’t seem to be that smart.
I would have appreciated an alogorithm that learns the room, our schedule, when we open the windows, when we are at work and acts accordingly. This device seems to respond only to PM2.5 and VAC triggers.
Also, the measuring is quite chaotic. It doesn’t do a sum of diffrent values over a larger period of time so it jumps from PM2.5 value 30 to value 15 and then 45 again, depending on the air in the vecinity of the device. That can be confusing.
I hope there will be an update soon.
