Bolt: Request a Ride 4+

I just read a review of a guy who gave 1 star for this app because of it’s drivers and I want to tell him that these are not employed by Taxify/Bolt, these are humans using the driver app and they can’t see the rating received from the customers btw... if the people living in your city are not ok, you just have to change your perception or city, the app is not guilty for that, the app is very very good and help a lot of humans to ride effectively in the city by taking someone in the car when they drive alone, this is the best part from my point of view. Keep going Bolt! I loved that puppy movie...

The lack of a review page on this app is appalling. Went on a trip and everything was ok until I hit the 5 star rating on my driver and then he demanded money because I had “messed up his car” and he had to cancel his next trip to go clean it. The mess was some alleged lint that I had left on the one seat I occupied. He made me clean his car before asking me to reimburse him for the damages and after I told him I had no money on me he asked for a tip in the app. I ended up giving him the money and wanted to write a review of the whole incident (also for the fact that during the whole trip he was using his spare phone, not focusing on the road and making passive aggressive gestures that I didn't notice until after). As I found out, there is no way to write reviews for drivers and no way to change your rating if something happens after you submit it. This driver could have done this hundreds of times and no one would know because bolt does not have the necessary features. After this ordeal I reached out to their customer support page about the “driving while not paying attention to the road” side of the situation and got a pending response that they received my message and their team will get back to me shortly.

I will not pay with card anymore, as the driver did not arrive, though he made the trip (without me), and charged my bank account. Appreciate the small charge for trips for chstomera and the discounts, but the app takes most of the money while the drivers get very few considering that they make all the investment( courses, car maintanance, gas, time and stress in the city traffic) and the Revolut takes money just because of the app. This makes the drivers angry and picky because their income is so small, and the customers have so little trust in the company. Then, drivers are allowed if only min 1 year experience, allowed from different city, there is no limit of max number of cars per region, and no control of the time spent by drivers working in that day( base work plus bolt work). Overall, I don’t support paying so much money just for an app with flaws. They don’t even have their own navigation tool, they send the driver so often to a different address, and the the clint must pay the waiting time of the driver.
