Good ideea... in theory

As others already said it takes a lot of time to scan (actually to find the product in the database after you scanned it) but that isn’t the main issue. The real problem is that it doesn’t always work. I got a lot of “internet disconect” when in reality I had no problem with my connection (tested in several other apps) at the same time. After all of this when I wanted to pay and the app should’ve generated the barcode it instead just stoped working. Tried to close and relaunch the app but just got stuck at the opening screen. Had to delete the app and reinstall. More time wasted than if I had scanned them at the selfservice place.
Edit: After the update there's a significant improvement. I still have the problem with it not wanting to scan sometimes after I unlock the phone but now I only need to lock and unlock and it’s good to go. All in all it works faster now so it’s ok.

Needs improvement

First of all, I need it to save my last shopping list.
Second, if I want to be able to check last bought items. Now if I check my shopping cart, I am asked immediately to pick a store nearby and this erases my list.

A failure, so far

Very invasive, a very weird location management. Self scanning is hidden by a stupid pop-up keep asking about where you are, whilst you're in the store, which it seen hundreds of yards away, which shouldn't matter because it's no other store around miles, all of these although it has full access to location service…

Basically it's useless, unless you care by their stupid marketing campaigns.
