The app does not have a stable base of drivers and therefore can’t sustain the number of orders in busy days or during events such as New Years Eve. I waited over 50 minutes in the cold for them to tell me that they could not find any car when the city was roaming with their so called employees. They all disable it and go on station because there people can be tricked. I am looking forward to a version where you can choose drivers that are not taxi drivers, because the last will take you into consideration only if they do not have another option. Had to call friends for help in order to get home. Disappointing experience.
Lots of minuses
This app was really good at first, when i started to use it, 2 years ago.
Now, for like a month or two, first was a contest made by the app that should get me 2 vouchers and not till this day I got them(I spoke on the phone with someone from the company and they said I will get a text in the shortest time and I didn't get anything till now, taking in consideration this was 2-3 weeks ago).
Second, the card payment method it's not well thought cause if you wanna pay with it and occurs some kind of an error or something, me as a client, I have no choice but to pay with cash, and since I chose at first to pay with card it's obviously because I don't have any cash, so me and the driver are somehow put in an stupid situation.
Also, some drivers are rude and unpolite and it's some really bad communication between them and the company cause they have no idea about nothing when it comes to anything related to the app.

Would never recommend
After my last encounter with the driver and the app, I decided that they clearly need a review. I’d only be wasting my time trying to get my money back or filing a complaint.
On the morning of 13th this month I asked for a cab to take me home. I entered the cab and the 1st thing that the driver asked was “where is this address?”. I told him it was out of Bucharest. He immediately became reluctant, told me that he wasn’t going to take card payment (as I selected through the app) because he’ll only receive that money in two weeks. That was obviously not my issue to begin with. Then he said that I didn’t mention that we were going out of Bucharest, which is absolutely ABSURD. The app doesn’t even have such a feature. It was definitely clear that I was going nowhere in the conversation, so I cancelled my order and exited the car.
Mind me, this is a really frustrating experience. As a local, I kind of expect of these things to happen so eventually I get past them. I don’t even want to know how a tourist would feel in these situations.
I’ve been sending complaints through the app for two days now and no one is responding. I got charged the minimum fare for a trip that wasn’t even completed.
My suggestion - avoid Clever at all costs -
