Digi.Online is a free application for RCS & RDS subscribers and allows to:
- view online the live streaming of the sport channels Digi Sport 1, 2 and 3, news channel Digi24 and music station UTV
- read the last news of Digi Sport and Digi24
- see the programs for all Digi TV channels*
- receive start notifications for favorite programs on all Digi TV channels*.
* Digi TV channels: Digi Sport 1, 2 si 3, Digi24, Digi Film, Digi World, Digi Life, Digi Animal World, UTV.
Digisport 1, 2 and 3 are the Romanian sport channels presenting the most important national and international competitions!
UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Liga 1 - Romania, La Liga - Spain, Serie A - Italy, Ligue 1 - France, Serie A - Brazil are the main competitions that football fans can enjoy. Competition series continues with MotoGP, Formula One, Formula 3, handball, hockey or the most important tennis tours.
Digi24 national station and the six local ones from Craiova, Oradea, Timisoara, Brasov, Iasi and Constanta present the latest news, promptly and impartial. Also, you are informed all day about international snapshots, economical events and political news.

From good to horrible
About 1-2 years ago the app was perfect.
You could play it in the background, you had Picture in Picture, you could stream it to the AppleTV without having the channel playing on the mobile device. PERFECT.
Now with the latest “improvements” you cannot even open the control center on the iPhone without the stream stopping, take a screenshot or lock the phone while streaming.

Hello! Thank you for writing to us! At the moment, the application is available only on mobile devices. To play the broadcast on TV, we recommend using Chromecast😊
Nice app! The Bads: No VPN, No Screenshot
A nice app that I'm using daily to watch the news during breaks.
It does not work when using a VPN.
In my case Digi (RCS&RDS) hasn't offered me a terminal (ONT) during installation introducing a dependency on another client (problem I am curently still working to solve...) so I need to use a VPN in order to protect my devices by preventing the security risk this introduced.
So whenever I watch the news I'm leaving my device at risk.
It removed the ability to capture screenshots.
I can't find a reason why?
This was so useful to share insights.
Now you need to use another camera to take screenshots of your phone or web, nonsense.

Hello! Thank you for writing to us! Indeed, the service does not work if you have a VPN connection. To check the situation you are facing with the shared ONT terminal, we recommend that you send us an email to clienti@rcs-rds.ro detailing the disadvantages you are facing. Regarding the impossibility of taking a screenshot,you need to know that content protection measures have been implemented and for this reason you can no longer take a screenshot. Please let us know if you need other information😊
