Description
DOT Tickets app is developed and owned by Din Offentlige Transport (DOT). DOT is a partnership between the traffic companies DSB, Movia and Metroselskabet to help create a better and more cohesive public transport system on Zealand, Lolland, Falster and Møn.
DOT Tickets app makes it easy to buy tickets and monthly passes for journeys on Zealand, Lolland, Falster and Møn.
You can purchase tickets by entering your place of departure and arrival, either in the form of a stop, address, or place. You can also pick the zones you wish to travel from and to on the map. The 2-8 zones fast purchase is relevant for you, if you know how many zones you need from where you are. You can use that feature, if you give the app your permission to localization (GPS) so that the app can determine your start zone. Giving your permission to localization, which is voluntary, can also help you determine your location on the map versus your ticket's validity area.
Monthly passes can be purchased by entering your place of departure and arrival. You can also pick the zones manually on the map if you travel between 2 and 8 zones.
You can purchase these tickets in DOT Tickets app:
• Zone tickets for 2-8 zones
• Tickets for 9+ zones between a departure and arrival zone
• Commuter cards with Metro and DSB 1’ Regional Train as an optional add-on

Ratings and Reviews
Language
Does anybody know how can I change the language inside the app? I can't find it..
Needs serious payment method improvement
At the time of writing this review, this is the only online means you can use to buy tickets, that I was able to find.
It offers 2 payment methods:
1. Mobile pay app, which requires a Danish mobile phone to receive sms for verification, therefor unusable for tourists
2. Adding a card in the app (named “unsaved card”). This worked once for me, hence the 2 stars. All of the other times it would not accept any of the Visa, Mastercard, etc. it says it takes, including the one that previously worked.
In buses, drivers only take cash, so all this amounts to a terrible headache just to pay public transport.
Come one CPH! You’re the smartest city I’ve been to, fix this thing, please!
English is broken
Installed the app, then I had to click a non English menu option to move forward. Then I input my phone number, get an SMS and I have an account. Then I go to a menu option labeled "Sprog" which Google tells me it should be a language settings. I then see a blank page with the title Sprog. No option to select anything. So the app is useless to me. Sends the wrong message to tourists to greet them this way.
