Version 11.1
Final Cut Pro 11.1 includes the following enhancements and bug fixes:
• Add colour corrections and effects to an adjustment clip above the timeline to apply them to a range of clips at once.
• Get inspired with Image Playground and use Apple Intelligence to quickly create stylised images based on a description, suggested concepts or people from your Photos library. (Requires macOS 15.2 or later on Mac models with M1 or later.)
• Speed up your Magnetic Mask workflows with important bug fixes, performance improvements, and a new keyboard shortcut to show or hide the Magnetic Mask Editor.
• Use the Quantec QRS (Quantec Room Simulator) effect to create natural and transparent audio reverbs that simulate real acoustic spaces.
• Stay organised by renaming audio effects in the inspector.
• Reveal the source of a multicam angle or synced clip in the browser.
• Move markers in the timeline by dragging them in a clip, or remove markers by dragging them out of a clip.
Ratings and Reviews
Best NLE ever
I've been using this since it was released (half-baked, to be completely honest; it quickly added the missing bits though). I love it. I've tried using other NLEs when the situation or project asked for it, but I was always happy to go back to FCPX at the end of the day.
Obviously, "the best" NLE is the one you like and know the most. For me, it's FCPX. Any other NLE makes you feel like an engineer, while FCPX makes you feel like an artist. This is why I hope Apple will continue to develop this fine and capable piece of software — and this is my only complain about it: for a professional app, Apple's secrecy about its future can be disconcerning.
Beautiful fluid experience
At this point on my main Mac I use 2 paid applications: Final Cut Pro and Photoshop 2022. The photoshop experience is poor, laggy, I'm having better experience with 10 years old licensed Photoshop on my older iMac (extremely poor experience using the Crop function for example).
But, the Final Cut experience, the way the software responds is mind-blowing. I love it!!!!
Worth every penny
To be honest, I realry had FinalCut close unexpectedly and in the very rare cases where that happened, none of my work was lost or dammaged.
It's such a beautiful pice of software and with FinalCut 11, edititng becomes even more enjoyable. Must try the features and give it a change.
