FUJIFILM XApp is an app. provided by Fujifilm Corporation. Once users pair a Fujifilm digital camera with their smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth®, they can transfer captured images and movies to their smartphone or tablet, control the camera remotely, backup and restore camera settings, synchronize date, time, and location, and update firmware.
The Wi-Fi function of smartphones or tablets is also used for transferring captured images and videos, and updating firmware.
In addition, by signing in to Fujifilm's network service, daily shooting activities using the camera can be automatically summarized in a diary format.
This service is useful for reviewing their photographic activities and improving their photographic skills.

The FUJIFILM XApp uses the GPS function of the smartphone/tablet continuously in the background, which may consume a large amount of battery power in your smartphone/tablet.
To reduce battery consumption, please go to "Settings" of FUJIFILM XApp and set the "Location synchronization interval" to a longer interval.

1. The following software bugs are fixed.
(1) Live View is not displayed in the correct aspect ratio depending on the smartphone settings.
(2) The “Number of lifetime shots” is not displayed correctly in “Equipment Status” When using X100VI.
2. The item name is revised as follows.
(1) The item name, “MECHANICAL SHUTTER (current module)” displayed in the “Equipment Status” is changed to match the “Number of shutter movements” used in some camera menus.

Bluetooth GPS unusable
The primary reason why I use the app is to have GPS coordinates on my photos. On my Sony I never had to open the app, this worked 99% of the time. On Fuji, it never works without opening the app. I can’t take my phone out of my pocket every single time I want to turn on my camera, it’s a huge disappointment

Camera not supported
This is ridiculous! I’ve been waiting for an app improvement of the old app (which today is not working at all - cannot transfer photos or anything cuz not connecting anymore) and then I saw the news of launching a new app… which is not supporting my XT-200 camera. So now there are two apps available, none of them working - great!
What can I say, thank you FUJIFILM. This is not how you will make my upgrade my camera with another of your models, but the opposite!

We do not have any plan to implement to support the requested model for now.
Still crap
The app is still slow to transfer jpg, no RAW image transfer, same crap as before just under a new design.
