Good app but why so restricted?

I understand that you need to make an income from this, but if you dont pay you cant make more than 3 habits? Doesnt make any sense. You should pay for some extra features, not the basic ones. I like tha fact that there are no ads on the app, but I would rather watch lots of ads than paying to do a thing that I should be able to do for free.
