Great app!

I only downloaded the app for the tuner (and because of the magnificent ads, they are so funny and I never skip them) but from what I saw it’s a really great app for starting out and seeing if you want to continue in playing the guitar. Of course it’s nothing like a real life teacher but it’s good if you don’t want to spend money on something that you don’t even enjoy.

very weak app

i started with other apps then came to this one because it seemed it would offer a better experience and it would have a lot of songs, but on the contrary, overall its worse than other leading apps, in all categories: worse sounds recognition for notes - misses or falsely identifies them, overall weak learning experience and a very limited number of songs. Lessons are quite annoying too, you have to compete each step before advancing, and they are very boring. And the worse part, it stops with the lessons at a very beginner level saying “new content coming soon”. They make a good sales pitch in the trial/ at the beginning, and the app looks flashy to have people buy the premium but overall apps like yousician for examples are much, much better. I regret paying for this app and would advise you to reconsider, at least try the other ones before committing to this one.

Not as great as they say

I’ve used this app for my first week of guitar play and i can say i didn’t learn anything, because, the songs and chords are on very easy mode, and i can say learning something from easy mode can make progress, but as much as you progress on easy mode, you won’t do any progress and you will waste a lot of time, i am not talking only about songs, but more about chords that you learn are simplified, from the beggining and i would like to start with the normal chords not the simplified version, and if i wanna play guitar, i want to play the full songs, not simply versions, as its name is simply guitar. It’s good though if you never touched a guitar before, but a better way to learn is to search on the internet tabs of your favorite songs, and if you want to learn chords, search for them on the internet.
