Lovely location

The apartment itself and the location, both are great for couples and couples with babies. I don’t find any major inconvenience to point out. The host is friendly and helpful. There are plenty of grocery stores and coffee shops around and if you like shopping (I don’t) you also have a few large shopping centers close to the apartment. For those who like traveling, I find the apartment quite well located as a starting point for any destination as it doesn’t force you to get into Funchal. Long story short - no reason to think twice if you don’t consider it too pricey. Last but not least the parking place is especially useful.

I don't think I could have made a better choice! I wholeheartedly recommend this location, whose owners are extraordinary people, focused on customer satisfaction! Honestly, even at a 4-star hotel, I didn't have cleaning and linen and towels changed DAILY, the rich and varied breakfast, Mrs. Sofia's smile and kindness, Babi's warmth and humor, and last but not least, the attention to the client's needs, promptness and the respect shown by Mr. Lefteris. An extraordinary team! All my respect! My family and I felt like HOME! We will definitely come back and recommend this location to everyone! ... it was to forget... the clean beach, close to the location, and the wonderful view!

Simply unacceptable

Booking is ok, when it works; when something doesn’t go as planned booking will either try to steal your money or it’ll just hand your card information to anybody.
This all really happened:
* Booking does price updates in a billing first UI second, so if you book a room, you see a price that is not guaranteed to be the price you pay, even that big button says you pay X amount is a lie, happened to me, all they did is ask for proof, therefore before paying is completely mandatory to screenshot what they say you pay, because they won’t refund or even offer a free cancellation.

* Idk about others, but I chose to use such an app because you cannot trust all small properties with handling your payments via the web, except Booking will just hand over your card information to those properties so they can charge you as they please.
