Bad ending ride experience
I have taken a scooter for a 500m ride from outside the parking area. I didn’t know they have a parking area and that I can only park inside that area. When I finished my ride, I could not interrupt the ride process and pay for it.
So I decided to take the scooter back exactly in the same place where I took it from which, as I said, was outside the parking area. I couldn’t end the ride even there.
They charged me about 5$.
Worst electric scooter service in Bucharest
I rode with an electric scooter from them through uber and it was the worst experience. First of all it's very expensive, you are better off riding with a car instead. Unlock fee is 4 RON (roughly 1 USD) then there is a time fee of 0.70 RON which seems fine but when it comes to riding the scooters, they are very jerky, brakes don't feel good at all, you could end up braking late, which is dangerous. My scooter rode fine for just a couple of minutes, then it was stuck at 10 km/h instead of 25. I was told by the support department that i have entered a "low speed zone". Therefore i ended up paying about 35 RON for a 6-7 km trip, because i was moving really slow, and i was charged based on my time spent on the scooter.
I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone, seems like a scam to me. Beware.
Unfortunately, bad experience.
The UX for adding money in the wallet could be better. By mistake I added two times money in the wallet and there was no way of a refund for the second time.
When I first tried, I was presented with an onboarding explaining what’s good and what’s bad when riding with Lime after the app started charging me. It would be nice to show the onboarding before the charge starts. It doesn’t seem fair to charge for something like that.
The second time I tried it, I unlocked a bad scooter. 1 minute in, and I reported it and left it in the same place. The app charged me for the unlock of a scooter, 2 minutes of “ride” and it “fined” me for parking in the red zone 🤦♂️
I was asked for reviews every time after each rise. I gave the first time feedback when I was unhappy with the money from the wallet but no response.
The scooters ride ok, the rest of the app feels nice. Maybe I was “lucky” to have the bad experience but was enough to let it go.
