Every time you multitask with many apps open, you need all the windows arranged accordingly. Magnet makes this process swift and easy.
In one drag to the edge of your display, you size any app into half of the screen. And by dragging its windows to corners, you snap them into quarters. Sliding on the bottom edge creates thirds, or even sixths on ultra-wide monitors. Taking advantage of such arrangements eliminates app switching and greatly enhances workspace efficiency.
All commands can be triggered via keyboard shortcuts as well. You can find a predefined set of hotkeys under the menu bar icon, or create ones that fit your habits.

Excellent app!
I use a Windows computer at work and got used to the aero snap on Win 10. I missed it a lot on my Mac and i was extremely excited to see that Magnet does the job perfectly. It would be absolutely awesome if when you snap a window you would get to choose a 2nd app to snap on the other side of the screen and have them side by side (again to make it look more like windows).
Easy to use, money well spent - 1 euro or more :)
The one app I paid for immediately after macbook purchase
Without this app, macOS seems broken / incomplete to me. I am sure the apple team will launch this feature (which is a Windows feature, let's be honest) in a future macOS release saying it's extraordinary....
I've been a macOS user for 6 years now and I can't see myself using a mac without magnet.
Freezes controls
This app freezes my screen and can not use the keyboard or mouse. I have to log out and log back in and immediately close this app. It does arrange your screen like it should at first, but after that it freezes your controls and can not use your computer properly. It’s a one star from me until they fix that.
