meteoblue shows high precision weather forecasts combined with a beautiful, simple and easy to use design. Weather forecasts can be requested for any place on Earth easily and comfortably.
What makes this app unique:
• Weather forecasts for any point on land or sea.
• Location search with more than 6 million locations: search for location name, postal code or coordinates or let the app find your current position with the GPS module.
• Widget: provides a quick overview of the current and future weather for a single location.
• Background images matching current weather conditions at the selected location.
• 7 days forecast: daily overview and detailed information for every single day with hourly or 3 hour values. Besides standard parameters like temperature, precipitation and wind information, unique features like predictability and rainSPOT give a better overview.
• Meteogram 5 days: temperature curve with pictograms, cloud layers in different altitudes and wind forecast.
• 14 days: trend forecast for minimum and maximum temperature as well as precipitation and precipitation probability.

The use of meteoblue for iOS is free of charge. Within the app, you can sign up for the "No ads - 1 Year" subscription, which disables all ads for a period of one year. If you choose to subscribe, you will pay the price set for your country, as shown inside the app. The subscription automatically renews if it is not cancelled within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for the next subscription period up to 24 hours prior to the current subscription expiring. It is not possible to cancel an existing in-app subscription. You can disable the automatic renewal function at any time by adjusting your account settings.

Version 1.12
With this update, you can share the forecast with friends. Use the share button to send a screenshot of the weather forecast or a link to the maps, the radar or the satellite. Also, the app now shows separate pictograms for day and night times.

Meteoblue- Simple, Logical, Accurate
Easy to read, implicit and accurate.
Well not the best, however accuracy became luxury nowadays, due to climate change, which defy any pattern.
I trust on it, as I use it often in my outdoor activities and traveling abroad weather forecast companion.
Good app obstructed by ads that are impossible to close
I used to love this app, but recently they’ve started to change the app policy by including more aggressive ads. Recently most of the ads are in impossible to understand foreign languages (like hungarian, polish etc) and they don’t have the “normal” close add button (the X on the top right) Instead they use two buttons:one for Enter link, the other for Close. But being written in impossible to read foreign languages, you basically stand a 50% of getting the close button right. Sorry guys, but the average person in the third decade of the 21st century, doesn’t have time to waste on closing your stupid ads.

We are sorry for the problems you met while using the app, but we can not influence the advertisement that our partners from Google and Apple use while you are on our app. Please report the advertisement that you do not like directly in the advertisement. Overview is misleading
If you look at the wind speed average in the weekly forecast view, the wind speed is misleading and always very low.
If you enter the hourly forecast, you have very high values which are correct!
Example: daily forecast for my city shows 18 kph average. If you go outside, your wind will take you flying. If you enter the hourly forecast in the app, then the correct wind speed will be shown (40-45 kph).

As you have already mentioned, the weekly forecast view shows the average expected wind speed for a whole day. In the hourly overview of the day, the expected wind speed at the various times throughout the day is given. We hope this response is understandable.
