Editors’ Notes
Our iPad Pro becomes an awesome on-the-fly notepad with this app built specifically for Apple Pencil. With a few taps and strokes, we can format handwritten text as titles, paragraphs or bulletpoints. And creating diagrams or marking up photos? Dead simple. Ah, the simple joy of taking old-fashioned notes—and decorating the page with random doodles!
Love it but want more
I just downloaded Nebo today and after fidgeting and trying every single thing that came to mind that I would want to see in a note taking app, I decided that this is the one. I went through all the free note taking apps that you can name and Nebo is the one app I will be focusing all my notes into. My congrats to the entire team and the product they developed!
In the future, if you decide to implement those lovely features, I will never even think of another note taking app again!
- A couple more page layouts (squares & dots are the only ones that I would love to see);
- Dark mode (for obvious reasons);
- The option to turn off writing-text recognition for specific pages (for when you want to doodle around and write stuff without needing a text conversion);
- Fixing a page height (A4 mostly probably, but as an option for page duplication, printing etc. – I actually like the endless page style).

Needs some improvement
Im an active user of Nebo. I use it for pretty much everything and that is why I noticed some bugs that become annoying after a while. Firstly, the conversion preview keeps appearing even if it’s turned off in the settings. Secondly, when you reenter the app to check your notes they are rearranged often in a bad and impossible to read way. And last, the scratch-erase feature is unhelpful because it doesn’t work unless you really put in the effort to scratch the word. It would be quicker to just erase the world with the eraser tool. Also, I need “big characters” in my notes and the fact that the app just doesn’t allow that and erase everything “big” is a major problem.

Thanks for your feedback. We can guess it's a misunderstanding of how the content reflows in Nebo in Documents (pages with lines). With Nebo 4, you can convert your handwriting in Notes and even use the keyboard to type, dictate and edit text. I suggest you give it a go since in the Nebo Note you can write and draw without constraints. Mila
