The app offers (but does not require) a Plex Pass In-App Purchase. Plex Pass is available for the equivalent of US$4.99 charged monthly to your iTunes Account, charged yearly for the equivalent of US$39.99, or as a one-off lifetime payment for the equivalent of US$149.99. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off in your iTunes Account at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, charged at the same rate for renewals. Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.

- Fixed a bug that meant users with Plex Pass might not have been able to change the app icon.
- Managed accounts with no shared libraries could not be deleted.
- The title of items in the Watch History screen could extend off-screen.
Ratings and Reviews
Very good for my needs
Using plex exclusively with Chromecast with a server on my PC and it's working wonderfully now. Glad I found this app, I used to have a 5 meter HDMI a while back as it was the only reliable way I could play stuff from my hard drive. No more!
Update: about 2 weeks after leaving my review (as seen below) below, the app was updated and all the issues I reported were fixed. Great response from the developer, I might say.

I'm using plex exclusively with Chromecast and I'm seeing a few really annoying bugs. For one, if I start playing an episode and switch to a different app, it's gonna lose connection to Chromecast. Happened to me 3 times just while trying to write this review. The second major hindrance is that if I pause and wait for a while, it's going to again lose connection to Chromecast. I take a break every now and then, so I'll pause, go in the kitchen, come back 7-8 minutes later, I have to reconnect to Chromecast and start playing again. It's unnerving having to start playing the same thing 2-4 times in under an hour.
Camera Upload Not Working
I feel robbed! Bought a Lifetime Plex Pass for the Camera Upload feature and it’s not working at all on my iPhone 12. It flashes a picture (which doesn’t get uploaded) and then gets stuck on “Waiting to upload”.
Searching the web I see this has been an issue for more than 2 years now. I literally feel robbed! When this gets fixed I’ll change my review.
Implementing useless features, not fixing important ones
I am an old user or plex and I also have bought lifetime license. Besides having my media organized nicely, the main reason for buying a license was to have automatic photo backup from my iPhone. While it worked for a while, it stopped working this springe and since then the forums are full of complains and there were several bugfixes and 'new features', it seems nobody cares to fix important ones that were the reason why many users boight premium in tje first place. Too bad, otherwise it's a great product
