Feels very satisfying after you beet a trainer
Can be improved
I want to start with the 2 big positives of this game:
1. Awesome graphics
2. Great development (I can see that it took some effort to put all of this together)
However, I think the idea below is what this game is missing for an explosive success:
Tried this game driven by the feeling of nostalgia (played the old Gameboy games). At that time, the game was simple: catch Pokémons, battle with Gym leaders, and raise enough money to buy the bike. This simple design lead to a great experience as with only these 3 aspects, there were more than enough things to do: “catch them all”, level up your perfect team, get enough money, get the legendary Pokémons, explore, transfer Pokémon with another friend that had the game and had a cable available, battle with friends, beat all gym leaders and so on.
Note that only 3 aspects of a game can give you soooooooooooo much to do. Therefore everything had a significance.
Now? Item this, item that, purchase this, purchase that, combine these, have that, get 3 things and transform into Mega-thing!
Here comes a mega discount!
I understand that you need to have some income in order to justify this awesome graphics and great development. But I suggest that you better approach the gameplay if you want this game to not be just a very expensive “Flappy Birds”. The current feel is that the game is simply a grind.
Dear DeNa,
I want to first say, that I love your game very much. I always wanted to play with my favorite Pokemon characters and this game makes it possible, but there is a thing that makes me consider dropping it and that is the stamina system.
Due to the fact that grinding is an essential part of the game, this system makes it hard for players, especially new ones, to level up their characters and thus making this game less enjoyable. Unfortunately I am not the only player, who thinks so.
So could you please remove the stamina system or at least remove the limit on how many times you can refill your stamina using gems ?
