Projects from Procreate cannot be used in Procreate Dreams
Do you think that you can animate old projects from Procreate in Procreare Dreams? If you do not want to start the project from the start, you are extremely far from the truth. You can only see the layers or the photos as references but can’t be used. I will try to see if I can do something else with the app at this point since there quite a few options in itself. I am curious why this option was not implemented since in my opinion it would be only natural to have this kind of option when we have an app developed by the same concept.
Update: tried with the suggestion from the developer, even ensuring the format preferences, still not work.

If possible, please also attach an externally recorded video (e.g. use your phone to record) showing yourself attempting to import and replicating the issue you are experiencing. This visual context should allow us to better troubleshoot for you. We will try our best to help.
10/01/2024 - Hey GabiAbiNS - Procreate and Procreate Dreams are specifically designed to complement each other and you should be able to bring your animation from Procreate into Procreate Dreams. To do so, use Procreate and Procreate Dreams in Split screen, then, use Drag & Drop to bring the artwork directly from your Procreate Gallery into your movie in Procreate Dreams. If this does not do the trick, head to iPad Settings > Procreate and ensure the preferred file format has been set to Procreate. Does this help? 🤗
I like program, but unfortunately it’s not for me
I needed animation program as dreams so much and waited hard for a month for release date. It has almost all functionality I need for my job. But when I finished my animation I was very disappointed that I can’t save in gif or any other file with transparency. Description says that I can save png somehow and continue work in another app but 1) it’s pretty weird 2) I saved in every way I could and png are always with white background, maybe it’s just me, idk.
About the functionality - that would be nice to warp more than 1 layer and have some sort of puppet transform tool.
But anyway, thanks. I really like an app and especially gesture. I hope that I will be able to use app after updates.

Can’t wait for improvements
As expected of new software, it is not polished or easy to work with (yet). There are quite a lot of bugs which kill the workflow and functionalities which everyone adored on Procreate were stripped. One of the worst things is not having clipping mask, which is a must for ANY drawing software. Excited for what is to come, but I do hope that issues regarding functionality will be addressed.
