RacquetTune ensures that your racquet is ideally suited to your style of play. Simple and straightforward to use, the app uses the sound generated by tapping the strings to calculate the tension with high accuracy. In addition, the interactive swingweight calculator aids in customizing your racquet to fit your own stroke pattern, while the stiffness calculator allows you to simulate different racquet configurations.
RacquetTune not only makes it easier to decide when it is time to restring, it is also an invaluable tool when testing different racquets and strings and in identifying which of your racquets is best suited for different types of games. RacquetTune also allows you to check whether your stringer is consistent in his work.

Tension measurement

many differences between app and real stringing
In the FAQ section i found this question:
„I am used to play with a racquet stringed to 25 kg, but racquetTune says that it is only 20 kg. Should I string harder?
No, you should have a tension that feels comfortable and that supports your game. racquetTune will help you find that tension and keep in all your racquets.”
Considering that I’ve strung my racket at a professional machine which registers 25 kg, while the racquet tune app indicates 20 kg, immediately after the racquet was strung, the utility of the app is null. For this reason i cannot understand why so many reviews to that app are positive and they all praise the accuracy of the application. Moreover there are many stringers that actually utilise this software. In this case I can only conclude that the reviews are fake.
The measurement's results are dependent of the characteristics of the racquet and the string factor. If you measure a racquet right after it has been strung and adjust the string factor so that you can obtain a tension close to the one with which the racquet was strung, i could have an approximate idea about the actual evolution of the racquet's tension. Therefore it cannot be said anything about the "accuracy" of the application.
The only conclusion i can come up with is that the favorable reviews are fake. And the fact that this app is utilized by stringing personnel is a bad joke, or a marketing advertisement.
