Redecor - Home Design Game 17+

The game is so relaxing and entertaining, but absolutely no one is veryfing if the participants are following the requirements for the design in question. Not to mention that people that have absolutely nothing in common with overall good taste, not to mention any clue design wise are voting up some absolutely ridiculous designs. Some of them are outdone by my 3 year old. The rules are not strict enough and no one is supervising the process. It's getting more and more frustrating, hence more and more people are giving up on using the app.
It's a shame.

Our ratings are based only on other players’ votes and after their results are in, the Final Design value is calculated. The Final Design value is calculated from the rating bonus from other players (=voting), and the value of your Design (=Cash and Gold used in the room). When the challenge results are in, you will get the same amount of XP (experience points) as your Final Design Value. We agree with you, and we've already improved a way to encourage players to follow the brief. It's a bit tricky to implement as the beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and if the brief is to create a "stylish & eclectic room," it's not so straight-forward to do technically, but we're working on it. :)

It's extremely joyful to apply your creativity and design awesome places. The variety of places and combinations is great and gives you so many options. That's sweet.
But:
- the servers are simply awful, so many times it has happened for the game to stop loading items, or when voting on other designs one or two of them not to load at all or even for the design not to be submitted properly, even though used items have been withdrawn from the account, which causes you to have to buy them again (not cool);
- something should be done as to verify that the designs are following the rules of each contest. Also, it shouldn't be possible for players to build fireplaces out of *wood*. I mean, come on...
Otherwise, it's a very nice app to let your creativity flow.

Very interesting game for the people who like decorating. There are 2 flows: operational, the game itself and strategic - the gamer or let’s call it, the designer.
Operational, the game crashes, has bugs or glitches, the items or the rewards don’t load and so on.
Strategic- even it’s very nice to stimulate your creativity and this game has good designs, it’s also frustrating as the gamers, or “apprentice designers” don’t follow the rules and don’t create after the client’s wish. So, many winners have safe designs in black, grey and white, in order to get the prize.
The voting system is based on player’s vote and no real designer can appreciate or disqualify you. So, many moments of disappointments can come.
