Easy to Use:
Connect the drive to your iPhone or iPad to launch the app. Once the app launches, you can set the app to automatically back up photos and videos from your camera roll to the drive. The app also makes it easy to watch videos or listen to music directly from the drive3. And the app lets you encrypt files for transfer and storage between devices2.

Love it!
Fast and reliable, quick backing up, social media backing up, wich I find to be awesome. Storing all the good stuff in dated folders makes it really easy to find what you might be looking for one year frim now.
Locked into the Apple ecosystem
This app is a must if you have a SanDisk iXpand flash drive, otherwise the flash drive cannot be used in iOS.
The backup, copy and view functions are working well and fast.
However, even if the photos are grouped in year/month folders, they are kept in the original order (days/time) only when using the SanDisk iXpand drive on iOS. As soon as one tries to use the flash drive on a platform other than iOS, the files are readable, but they are in a random order. This is not a desired feature when we want to have a usable backup or copy of our files.
With that said, the SanDisk iXpand Drive application will still be a must have, otherwise you will not be able to transfer the occasional file onto the usd drive manually.
