SeeMeU is a social collaboration tool built to empower academia because, let’s be honest, selecting a college or furthering your education can be tough and we’ve all experienced situations that we wish we would’ve known about before our first semester.
SeeMeU is designed for academic institutions to cultivate real-time dialog and content between the prospective students, currents students, faculty, and alumni, giving users access to this audience like never before. SeeMeU wants to emphasize conversations between all these users, as well as businesses to bring a focused conversation regarding their specific school. We also aim to give schools full control over their online narrative, being able to drive the conversations that can make their product more transparent.
As SeeMeU grows with the help of the schools as our partners, we will be able to develop features that they need to make the academic experience as beneficial to them and to the students.

FOR USERS:
SeeMeU is built for prospective students and any person in the world that wants to connect to a college or university campus experience. All the content posted into each school on SeeMeU is posted by users who are affiliated to their specific campus, or users who have joined groups connected to different schools. Once a user has selected a school to attend in real life, you can Graduate your account and become a special user that shows your school affiliation. Every group you post into that is affiliated to a school you’re not a member of will show your posts as a prospective user (Blue).

Current students (Green) are users that have obtained an official school email account. Like every user, they can choose any display and mention name they wish. The importance of this user type is to distinguish yourself as a member of your school’s community.

Faculty (Purple) are users that are officially elevated by the school to have specific functions which empower them to navigate features related to administrator, professor, and or organizational roles.

Alumni (Gold) are defined as users that were once officially accepted as a member of a school.
