Description

**Synology NAS and the Synology Photos service enabled are required for this application.**
**For optimal experience, DSM 7.2 or above is recommended.**

A flexible and comprehensive management tool that allows photo backup and browsing by chronological order or folder structure. Explore photos of loved ones or favorite vacation spots through AI recognition and auto-created albums. Group photos by themes or topics of your choice. Enjoy cherished memories in the palm of your hand.

What’s New

Version 2.1.0

Important Note:
1. Following the update to this version, when backup is enabled, the Synology Photos mobile app will rescan items to check if all files are backed up in the previous version. If any unbacked-up files are found, the mobile app will automatically trigger a backup. This process will not lead to file duplication.

What's New:
1. Supports setting up your deletion preference. You can choose to delete files from both your phone and Synology NAS at once or only from your Synology NAS.

Fixed Issues:
1. Fixed an issue where users might be signed out unexpectedly when using the Synology Photos mobile app.
2. Fixed an issue where backing up a large amount of files might cause an insufficient storage error.

Painfuly slow on DS220j + iPhone 12 Pro

Great potential, some well thought functionality and features BUT more work is needed.
The photo/video backup is SUPER slow and often remains stuck.
I would love to use this as the one and only app but for now, it is not the case.
Hoping to see improvements and revise my stars.
Thank you for what you have provided to far and keep up the good work!

This last update is just stupid

Why would someone want to see all their photos regardless if they are backed up or not?! Why? I have no idea if my photos are backed up now! I have to go through the folders and check!
If I want to delete a photo on my NAS why am I obligated to delete it on my phone as well?! Why?
After the update it “backed up 9k photos that were already backed up, after it says “out of sync” and indicated 400 photos that the NAS deleted…what?! Why?! Where are my photos?!
You destroyed the app!!!!

Slow switching between photos

App started to run slow on my device (iphone 7 plus) since the last update. Switching between photos makes my phone freeze for a few seconds with both the new and the last photo being partially displayed.
