I am deeply disgusted by TikTok, which is why I have decided to permanently delete my account. TikTok was supposed to be a platform for dance, art, and creativity, but it has unfortunately become a global political weapon designed to manipulate people. While I did learn a few somewhat useful things from it, the majority of the content was pure garbage and nothing more than brainwashing.The final straw that pushed me to delete my account and never look back was the role TikTok played in the recent elections in Romania, my home country. Extremist and undemocratic individuals gained popularity on TikTok and used the platform to manipulate votes. Another reason for my decision is TikTok’s complete lack of interest and action in addressing this issue, even after requests from the European Parliament and Romanian authorities.You have become the most disgusting social media platform, surpassing even other notorious companies. I sincerely hope karma finds its way back to you and you receive what you deserve.You really lack true regulations, I often saw that hurtful and toxic comments were ignored even if I reported them and if I wrote nice comments or non toxic comments they were deleted. I really hope you get what you deserve. You divide people more than anyone.

This app might be the worst of social media's apps, I can't even leave a comment because tik tok is deleting almost all of my comments, respectful comments where i express my opinions respectfully, but every time they say it's "hateful speech" im so tired and i know im not the only one. Though it's not the only problem, I always report for example accounts that are -13 yrs old , or comments from other people that are for real hateful but they don't do anything, they wont delete anything because they are using bots. My for you page is a mess and always shows me the content im uninterested in(and I always select that button "uninterested" but they keep appearing on my fyp). Tik tok is a place where people are promoting illegal products and activities and still they won't delete accounts. Tik tok is a place where 8 year olds are free to scroll and use an account because their account won't be deleted. Sadly I started to use tik tok less and less and I think soon I might uninstall it. Im not the only one, the app is starting to fall apart, my friends uninstalled tik tok as well and I hope more people would do the same 🫶🏻 Shame on all of you
