I tryed to sell a Ysl bag, but when i uploaded the photos on the site, they told me it was fake, even tho i bought it from the a real Ysl store. I tryed contacting them, no answer. Customer service is non existent. Vestiaire Collective can't be reached via telephone or email. Only option is via chat and then they reffer you to their FAQ page so you can't talk to anyone. Questions via chat are not answered. Stay away from this website. It's a scam!

It always has bugs, doesn’t work properly, gets blocked and has errors. The price or any status change of a product doesn’t get changed immediately. For example, in last viewed section I still have a blazer I wanted with the old price, before reduction, although I already bought it and negotiated a lower price. When you want to remove something from favourites the change doesn’t take place immediately as it should. You need to change the category and then come back to see the updated list of favourites. I find it really upsetting for the app to be this bad though both seller and buyer have to pay taxes. Moreover, I had an issue with receiving a product because my address wasn’t sent properly to the delivery company. I had to wait a lot and if I didn’t check with the delivery company I would probably still wait for my order. Very unprofessional

Bad, bad, bad experience.

I bought a Chanel handbag from them. Upon arriving, I realised the bag was not my style, so I decided to sell it back. I have not worn the bag while it was with me. I managed to sell it (I say “manage” because of their 25% comission which makes it hard to buy and sell at the correct price). I sent it to their center for them to check it. They wrote to me saying that the bag had a defect and that they are reducing 500 dollars from the price I would receive.

Again, this is the same bag that I had bought from them as “very good”, with no defect, for 2,232 dollars, and which I had not worn in the meantime. Now, it was sold for 1,860, because of an imaginary flaw invented by them to reduce the price of the item so that they could keep the rest of the money. They were not content with just the 25% commission, they wanted more.

On the page of the item, the old price is written (3000 dollars), but I only received 1,860, which is clear evidence that the buyer paid full price, while I got far less, because of the flaw they malliciously invented.

I have done business in several occasions with Vestiaire, so it is sad to see that they are so greedy towards a loyal partner. Anyway, you have been warned. I will share this message on multiple media so that people are not scammed like I was.
