I was keep going from costumer service to video call with a person that validates my information and the app didn’t work, finally after more than an hour and a half after keep going back and forward I somehow managed to have my account validated and ready too use. Apparently it needed to go through all the processes once more, even though they said is all validated.Next day I had a problem, I called customer service and the line kept breaking, like they hang out in the middle of the conversation. But this happens 4 times, and every time they hang out and I call back I hd to speak with a different person. And I saw that is a common problem WU has, but didn’t do nothing about it!!! 😡

I spent over 1.5 hours trying to access my money in Iași, only to be passed between support channels handled by the same person — Cristina — who gave me misleading information repeatedly. Despite trying both phone and text support, I ended up in the same loop with no help. After all that, she casually confirmed I was right all along: they couldn’t help me and knew it from the start.Their app doesn’t work, their agents waste your time, and they show zero respect for customers. Do yourself a favor — avoid WU and use anything else.the main problem is that they would show my app as waiting for verification but cristina in support says oh no its already rejected but i dont know im sorry, instead of finding out why its rejected and try to find the solution.

Since I have created my account two years ago, I am facing bug after bug. The support service is poor as well, since they are advising the issues are going to be resolved within a couple of days or probably longer - if I need to add money now/perform any sort of operation now, I need support during today, not in a couple of days or longer. I will delete my account after this horrible experience because I had enough - the app is working way too low, it is presenting constant bugs and furthermore its support is way too concerning (they also managed to block my bank cards due to security reasons which my say a lot about the WesternUnion security).Not recommending this app to anyone.

I have tried to make an account, but the amount of bugs this app has is unbelievable. It’s completely unusable. I cannot verify my account because of an error. Spent like 4 days to speak to customer care to delete my account so I can start from scratch. And now I still can’t make an account because the app is literally stuck at setting using the PIN. It asks me for the PIN over and over and over again without end and I quite literally cannot use the app at all. I have used WU before and was satisfied, but I have to look for alternatives cause this app is not working.

The app is full of bugs and takes forever to load.Customer service is despicable, I called about a problem and the operator hang up in my face after waiting 30 minutes for them to answer.WU promised a ~20$ bonus for new clients and I have read all the terms and conditions but after opening my account they said the terms and conditions have changed. I had to pay a fee in order to add money and receive the bonus that I never received. I would also like to add here that most banks don’t charge fees for depositing money with them.When I tryed to withdraw money, it didn’t work for some reason and I got NO NOTIFICATION but Revolut sent me both an email and a message telling me what’s going on. If someone else got my info and tried to withdraw money, WU would have given me NO notification of this attempted transaction.I don’t know where you are in the world but trust me, there are better banks and companies. Way better ones, such as Revolut or honestly any other traditional bank.

I waited 4 days for the account validation (even though it said it takes 8-10 minutes, or 24h-48h if they need additional checks).I can't see my virtual card details for 3 days and i'm just starring at my money because i can't use them. And today I found out that my account upgraded itself at 1:31AM and took my money. Really? I tried to call an operator but i waited 30 minutes on the phone to someone answer my call, but nobody did, so i got bored. And if you want to text them, they say they will respond in 24h..yeah, i wrote them 2 days ago about the card details problem and i didn't get an answer yet.
