They closed my account
I had one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had with Wolt. After waiting over 2 hours for my food to arrive, it finally showed up cold, damaged — and most disgustingly, with hair in it. I immediately reported the issue through the app, expecting a basic level of decency and professionalism. They refunded the order, which is the bare minimum they could do, but what happened next was absolutely shocking.
Instead of apologizing properly or taking steps to improve my experience, Wolt permanently closed my account without warning. No explanation beyond a vague message saying I violated their terms — all because I reported a valid issue with an order that was genuinely inedible. So now, after years of using the app, I’m blocked from ordering — not because I did anything wrong, but because they messed up and didn’t want to be held accountable.
This is how Wolt treats loyal customers: punish them for speaking up. They clearly care more about protecting their image (or maybe their partner restaurants) than about customer safety, hygiene, or basic fairness. Absolutely disgraceful. If you’re considering using Wolt, think twice — because if anything goes wrong, they won’t fix it, they’ll just get rid of you.
Extremely Poor Experience with Food Delivery Service
I had the worst experience I’ve ever had with a food delivery app. Unfortunately, I cannot find a single positive aspect to highlight.
First of all, a promised delivery time of 30 minutes turned into 3 hours, which is completely unacceptable. On top of that, the food arrived unsealed, which raises serious hygiene concerns.
The courier was delayed by an additional hour, claiming his phone battery had died — a completely unprofessional excuse. To make matters worse, the in-app chat support was practically nonexistent. I attempted to cancel the order and had to wait two hours just to get in touch with someone. Despite being an eMAG Genius subscriber, the chat was abruptly closed on me without any resolution, and I was even prompted to leave a review afterward.
As of now — since 1 AM last night — I am still waiting to speak to someone regarding missing items from the order.
This experience was unacceptable on multiple levels, and I sincerely hope steps will be taken to improve customer service and delivery standards.
The customer service on Tazz was bad but Wolt’s is even worse
I didn’t imagine you could do even worse than Tazz on customer experience, but apparently sky is the limit in this industry. I ordered 2 shaormas, one of them with rice, just like I always order one of them. Well, both of them came with potatoes and no, nobody asked of that’s okay. So of course I contacted customer support and the response was literally outrageous. We all know what a shaorma is. Obviously I took a picture with the wrong shaorma, one with both and one with the receipt where it clearly stated one of them was supposed to have rice instead of potatoes.
Besides the fact that I had to send 2 messages to the guy only for him to answer after 15 minutes, he requested (after sending the 3 photos I’ve mentioned) that I send the wrong ingredient together with the receipt so he can discuss my issue with the order. I’m sorry, how am I supposed to pick up the non existent rice from my chicken and potatoes (instead) shaorma from the trash so that I can take a picture of it next to the receipt. I’m sorry, it would’ve been funny if it wasn’t outrageous.
But seriously, the 2.7 review of this app should convince you to order from any other available food delivery app.
Literally the most outrageous experience I had with any customer service ever regarding an issue with my order.
