Faulty Advertising
Every single ad for this game had rotating rings or covering a board with certain motions. Its icon are the rings, all the screenshots here are of the rings.
Rings are just a miniscule part of an overburdened game that tries to be Farmville, sim, puzzle game etc.
The minigames seem to have been added as an afterthought, or simpy to avoid charges of false advertising.
Clear case of content creep. Make a game that is good in one thing, not 10 games out of which not a single one is particularly good.

You can’t play the game right away, but they make you finish some quests on a completely different game before being able to play it.
Tidious and unwanted. Scamming users to play other games.

The main story concept is Mia's Adventures exploring new islands and discover dragon species. The make over and rings are part of the minigames. The team mentioned that optimizations will be made in the near-term future and definitely consider your opinion and make the game better.
